There is no substitute for time spent. No writers room that can replicate the life’s work of a dedicated author. Legacy cannot be crammed in. You can’t buy it. Can’t outsmart it.

Millions are spent aspiring toward what we’ve devotedly crafted over twelve generations of American agriculture. Growing peaches, growing barley, growing community, growing grapes. Each of them teaching us something different about what it means to cultivate in every environment. We landed in Washington State in a time when “real” wine came from France and Italy, and the world’s “best” stories were imported.

So, we kept reading. We soon learned that life experience is measured in stories and saw the opportunity to write a great one right here. Since 1976, we’ve been writing. A Protagonist was born, and then an Antagonist soon thereafter. We wrote Fiction and Fable. We built a library of Heritage, Suspense, Subplots, and Conflict. We championed literacy, so that others could go off and write their own.

We’ve spent twelve generations creating a world to share with our community, and that was just chapter one. This, is Chapter Two Hospitality.
